Default ok i said i wouldnt but ..........

mods have to be done lol
right around 500 miles on the 09 now and i have been driving it like i stole it the last few days.
time to stark looking for money to buy the (somewhat standard) mods, pipe and jetting. only problem is how i break the news to the wife i need a bunch of money to modify my brand new bike lol

guess i'll go hit the streets at start collecting cans lol'

on another note i was shut down by "the man" lol
i asked range control about the roads i was taking and he said it was a no go.
so in protest lol i hit a tank trail that i have been eyeing for the longest. well probably wasnt the smartest thing i ever did.
i pretty much have no off road experiance. i ducked off the road and within 30 seconds i could tell the trail was gonna get nasty. first it starts with soft powder like sand that gets about 10-12 in deep. then come the ruts cut by the tank treads kinda hidden by the soft sand. then come the whoops about knee high. all this in pretty much pitch black at 3 am.
intersting time will hit it again during the day light soon.\

Haha! That tank road sounds like fun. My dealer has offered to let me borrow his KX250-F for a weekend. Plenty of time to get myself in all kinds oftrouble. [8D] See if you can get some pics of that trail.

When it comes to the mods, I would probably go with the HMF slip-on if funds are limited. I personally feel it offers the most bang for the buck....not to mention the fact that they give a complete break down of what you need for the rejetaswell asillustrated directions of how to do it.

I must be lucky or something, because over the past two weeks I've spent about $1,100 in upgrades/gear for the KLX, and the wifey doesn't even say a word about it.

Or maybe I just have her trained well?!!! hahahaa
