ok well i got home from work and switched the 40 for the 35 pilot, and the 125 for the 128 main, and fuel screw at 2.5.... fired up and sounded good.... just have to clean my air filter and fix the exhaust from rattling.... im gonna go clean the air filter after dinner..... im excited to take it for a spin to see what it did....

I meant just the snorkel Eric, leave the lid on for starters.

Thanks alot guys hopefully it runs better..... Iowa, did you use the vortex insert? so how will not having a snorkel and just using the same hole, its still the same amount of air getting in.....

iowa its not that i didnt wanna listen to you, i just wanted to see what others thaught, hopefully it runs like yours did... i think im gonna get one of those iridium plugs too..... thanks alot guys.... just have to wait for my uni to dry, just cleaned it....

Comparing the inlet area this is what I found:
Stock snorkel: itty bitty
KDX snorkel: not bad
Dual snorkels: better
No snorkel: much better
My less than scientific description is because I don't remember the numbers offhand but the inlet area for no snorkel is actually greater than running the KDX and the stock one combined.

Yup yup yup I installed that the day before I went to Reiter over by Monroe WA. Its a good thing I did, there were water holes over 2 ft deep. I think the bike started to float at one point.[8D]

This guy didn't have them and 1 mile into the ride he was dead in the water. Plugged the main jet and had to idle back to the staging area.
