If they'll do that to buyers of that type filter. What will they do to us?

Still not to concerned about it. Been using fram filters for years in all types of vehicles and I have not had an issue yet.

Just sayin

Unless I'm mistaken, that would be a 250 GTO?
My limited understanding of the FRAM debacle, is that they had a couple batches of filters get through where the glue holding the paper end cap came loose, and when the filter media got sucked into the bloodstream, a few engines self-destructed. This happened several years ago. What I don't understand is, knowing they would be under subsequent intense scrutiny, they continue to use the same basic glue arrangement. I'm not suggesting to anyone FRAM is trash, (and I admit to having used them in years past,) however, given their track record and knowing they have not appreciably changed their construction, I will not use them again on any of my vehicles.
