Default Oil filter

Hey everybody.anyone no where I can buy a oilfilter at besides dealership?my 351 sounds like it knocks a bit so I am changing oil.w 10w40 synthetic. Is the knocking sound common, my imagination? 2100 miles on it. Wall fart maybe??

Keep an ear out for that automatic cam chain tensioner. I have a manual one from Krieger that needs to be installed soon. I think TNC was the first to have one made up for our bikes.

There was an oil filter thread running a week or two ago. There's many other options than the dealer. HiFlow, Wix, Napa, Fram...just check their web sites.

Yep, check cam chain tensioner. I run valvoline 10w40 non-synth since day one. My cylinder wall at about 10k looked new when I had it open last week.

I think keeping up on the oil changes is more important than brand or synth/dino.

The Fram can be found at Walmart and Advance auto. $5-$6

It uses the same filter as a Honda TRX250X or TRX300EX four wheelers also and they are very common so they can be bought at most any cycle shop.
