You should contact these guys, they have multiple 2009 KLX250SF in front of their stores with different sets of tires you can choose from (dirt vs road):

I just called them and they could order them:

Shinko Golden Boy Trail tires
SR244
front = 3.0 x 17 -> $39.99
rear = 4.6 x 17 -> $52.95

They have them on the bikes so I assume they fit perfectly... I have not personnaly tried them...

Here is a list with part numbers from Shinko model sr244:

Hi Bsivklx250s,
I put the SF wheels back on to sell the bike. The suspension of the SF, and even the 2009 S, is too short for the type of riding I do (mostly enduro in the ORV parks and poker runs in Washingon state). I found a 2007 KLX 250S with 450 miles on it, which has more ground clearance and has the earlier long suspension.

Just did a quick read thru this thread..
Did I miss something or is there really no straight answer on where to possibly get a complete dirt setup for a 2009 KLX250SF?

i've been having no luck either with my search besides getting a set of wheels from a 250s.

i have those tires on my 09klx250sf, they work ok in packed and somewhat loose dirt. if your get in sand, snow, mud, or really loose dirt they are like riding on slicks.

My '09 250SF came with a the dirt wheels and street wheels as a promo from the dealer. However, I had to do other things as well: Install an 'S' front fender for tire clearance, longer 'pull' throttle cable from the S model to go with wider/taller FatBar handlebars. Re-route the clutch cable for length because of the taller bars - should have bought a longer cable for a KLX300. And the front brake hose is almost too short with taller bars. The front suspension is set up firm for street but works okay on the trails. Converting that to the plush 'S' is $1000+. Rear sprocket from the 'S' and a 13T front to lower the gearing - this requires one extra inner chain link and another master link.
