running a set of pirelli mt21's 120x90x17 on the stock sf rims. good traction offroad with decent road manners but I don't recommend this size.

If you don't recommend that size, what would you recommend? What are your issues?

I've got a set of S wheels for sale in the classifieds section, along with forks and a shock from an S model if anyone is looking to do the whole swap. Thanks!

the 09 hubs are different but could you take apart a 2006 wheel and relace it over the 2009 SF hub?

I have a full s conversion kit for sale, including 18/21 wheel set, disc brake rotors, front caliper holder, rear sprocket ( new Renthal 48 ) front sprocket (13 or 14) Rotor bolts, sprocket bolts, longer side stand and front fender ( Green or black )
I will consider any reasonable offers and will pay shipping via normal postal services to US, Oz Europe, Thailand etc. Our postal services are pretty reasonable, but take about 14 days to ship to US or Oz.

I just put some Shinko 244's on my SF this week, 3.00X17 front and 5.10X17 rear. I took a quick lap around the neighborhood and the bike seemed to handle pretty pretty well. I'm looking forward to a more comprehensive test. Unfortunately, since I mounted the tires we've had a couple days of rain followed by sub-freezing temps. I'm hoping this setup will work for some light dual-sporting, dirt/gravel roads, etc.

I bought a set of Supermoto wheels with KLX650r hubs and 17x3.50 and 17x4.50 excell rims, braking wave disc 320mm.

Only things I had to change:
Took 1mm off the adapter for my front brake and a friend of mine made another spacer for the front wheel.

Does the speedo still work with the KLR hub?
