Now a rod kit for the KLX250/300
#2
Chinese non-factory part, I'm guessing? I wouldn't dismiss parts from Taiwan or other SE Asian countries right now, but I'm doing all I can to avoid Chinese **** for now and the foreseeable future. Scumbags. We're going to have to break the business cycle with them. If the ebay ad had an origin for these parts, I missed it. Anyone see it in the ad?
I see now that Tong Tong motors is based in China. Your principles or your pocketbook. Pick one.

AHL same maker as the 299cc cylinder kit and I would guess probably building engines for a number of Chinese companies. So yes, it is Chinese.
When it comes to principles we'd have to give up a lot, including medical goods and medicines and it isn't because of everyone's personal principles, but rather the corporate policies of most all companies to maximize the bottom line at the cost of principles and security. When China cost more Nike bailed for Vietnam and I'm sure others have done too, so they can keep the cost probably down under $20 to the shelf while selling at triple the price or more. There will be a lot of sacrificing of personal principles as long as companies will not have any themselves. For all I know it may be the same parts in a KLX, who knows where Kawasaki sources them while building in Thailand? Will anyone here refuse medical care that uses Chinese products?
I guess if you toss a rod you toss the bike, right? If there was any other choice it might be different, but there isn't. Presently this is the first time I've seen a rod kit for the KLX, that includes looking around some, too. Any sources?
