Have only had the filter installed for 450 miles so far but will clean it. It does not come apart so I plan on cleanning in diesel then soap and water then blow dry. Will take a little longer to do oil change but I think I will be happy with it.
Cheers Jim

Heres were I ordered it from, they had the best $.

Scroll down the page some for the temp guage, also needed is the 22mm temp sensor mount.
FYI the sensor they give you with the guage doesn't read as good as the one they give you with the mount.
The mount was the harderest thing to do, trying to make it fit in the little hose that comes out of the head and goes to the rad. I had to take some off each end of the mount to make it fit to my liking. That's were it has to go to read the right temp.

I mounted it with some velcro and it seems to stay put. The quality is good and have had no issues.

I really like the fact you no how hot things get when cranking on it and gives you a good idea when its warmed up too.

Looks pretty agressive port job, did you get dyno testing done before/after?

And how about that piston.
What kind of coating you have on it? "Dry lubricat" on the skirt and ceramic insulation on the crown?

John from http://cycleproracing.com/ did the porting. I don't have any before dyno runs, just after it was done.

The piston was sent to http://www.swaintech.com/store.asp?pid=8537&catid=19694 and they silicone coated the skirt and ceramic coated the top.

That sensor looks bascially like the Vapor unit. Makes one wonder if the source is the same.

Yeh they do look alike, a basic design I think.

Do they offer different sensors for oil temp, exhaust temp, ect.?

I have some silicone hoses coming and don't want to cut, so I am going to put the head temperature sensor that goes under sparkplug like a washer.

Maybe even try the oil temp, but don't know what thread size our drain plug is? Plus it replaces the drain plug and didn't like the location of it, might rip the wire right off the sensor being under the bike.

Whelen 100 watt P.A and simulated air horn. The stock horn was not to my liking...This one really gets attention when needed!
