I'm a definite maybe. A little too early to make plans that far just yet. Last year at the Pine Barrens was a blast, and it was good meetin everyone. Definitely a trip worth doing again.

 

2 of the 3 most important parts are done. the guide(truckman) and the place(sandy valley campground). the date of the ride is the last part and we have plenty of time to get that all squared away. last year we went memorial day weekend and it was HOT. i would suggest doing it a few weeks earlier buti'll go along with whatever weekend we all decide on.

the first thing we have to work out is............. is this going to be a 2 day ride or a 3 day ride. i'm travelling 5 hrs so i would like it to be a 3 day thing but that's just me. some of you guys who live out there might not want to take a day off work. let's get some feedback on that before we go any further.

 

I wonder if I could take a bike for a 24-48 hr test drive back there.

 

I just checked Amtrack they'll drop me off with my bike at Wash DC Cheap....how far is that from Barrons? Is it a lil klx DS distance.....When are you guys thinkin?

I could be in. I got 200hrs of vacation leave to burn and Penn St. is not too far from Oklahoma. Just gotta get a ramp so I can load the bike in the bed of my Ranger.

 

Oh yeah, back of the pickup for me. According to Google, it's looking like an 8.5 hour drive from here.
