HAHAHAHAH Dang that made me laugh... My 18 hp kohler has a more expensive filter than my bike. Hmm? wonder why? welll any ways I use the castrol oil and me and deej both use a dab of grease to hold that pos spring into place. Dont use waterproof bearing grease. Just use regular grease.

Today i drained it a 2nd time and put 1.4 quarts of Castrol 4 T 4-Stroke Motorcycle Oil SAE 10w-40 API service SH, SG, says meets API SG and JASO MA($4.80 a quart). Seems like it is idling a

little higher than stock factory oil but ill have to check that out later today when wife comes home. I'm sure thatsa good sign.) I just ordered a atv ramp from

http://www.discountramps.com/bifold-atv-ramp.htmfor 103.99 total price, at local dealer same ramp was like 186.

Sudo

120 miles so far)

Its best to use oil formulated for the vehicle. As for Fram filters, I don't trust or use the automotive filters, but the motorcycle filters are good quality.

I go to Wal-Mart to get my oil & filter. They had such a good deal for the Mobil 1 4T oil, I bought all of it for $5/quart. Sure beats $12/quart for Royal Purple.
