noob question#18 - street tires
Man I am learning quite a bit from you guys. This is an awesome forum with awesome people. Sorry for asking so many questions but I am very excited about my new found obsession with this little KLX250s.
So I've been offroad (mud and crap) a couple times already. The OEM tires seem to be excellent for this type of stuff but considering that more then 90% of my riding is going to be asphalt to/from my jobs what tires am I limited to?
I don't have $$$$$ to spend on supermoto 17" wheels so I want to use something that will fit the 18" rear and 21" front. I found so far D607 tires that look pretty good and also D404 tires usually mounted on cruisers.
Are there any issues installing street tires on these spoked rims? Most street tires do not require tubes and I know it is not recommended to use tubes in tubeless tires due to increase friction/heat. What options are there?
My goal is to smooth out the ride a bit and get at least 10,000 miles per set of tires. Is this do-able?

spoked wheels= tubes everytime..... a couple people put those 607's on thier bikes.... no problems at all..... i dont know what to expect out of a set of street tires.... id like to get another set of stock wheels and run the 607's on.
Go for it.
