No rev past 8500rpm......need help

Exclamation No rev past 8500rpm......need help

HI guys i can seem to figure out what is going on.

first i got 09 sf BB 351 with bill's carb 142 main 40 pilot .web cam 101 grind cam. and a bit of porting.

the bike is very powerfull up to 8500 when it seem to go to the rev limiter.

with the 15 tooth front gear i used to get 150kmh easy now 130max is there somthing i m missing electreonic wise.. thanks for your help

Could it be bogging by running lean? or rich?

your main is too rich try a 132 (would not go richer than 135)

I'm trying a 137.5 main that i have on hand. I hope you guys are right . it had a 140 main that i switch because i tought is was lean...lets you guys know But to me it seemed like electrical... hope your right

im running a 127.5 mj on my mikuni tm36 and a 132 on my cvk

hi the carb come with 40 pilot and 142 main.

If you have the air box opened up it could be your problem. Because of the internal characteristics of the carb, Bill recommends an opening size in the box. Don't remember what it was. but call him and he will tell you.

hi guys good news i had some electrical issue that was cause by a loose sparkplug loom now back in business thanks
