ORIGINAL: queenpdog

Well, someone asked about queenpdog so here's the story.

WHen I lived in New Mexico I had a thing about prairie dogs. I guess you could say they are my "totem" animal. I got involved with a group that trapped and relocated prairie dogs from construction sites. The developers didn't care if they were wiping out whole colonies when they put up their Home Depots and Targets so we would go out there and trap the little guys and move them to other colonies out into the desert where they had a fighting chance to survive.
My friends started calling me the queen of the prairie dogs and I guess it just stuck. Queen Prairie Dog is a little long, so it's just queenpdog.

By the way, I'm not really interested in hearing people's negative opinions about prairie dogs. I've heard it all before.
If anyone dares to dis Prairie Dogs, I'll crush their poodlenuts for you!!

Seriously though, thanks for doing what you did. I had a prairie dog as a pet. People do not understand how inteligent and social these animals are. My little Ferris was a joy to have around and soooo friendly.

Maybe we should start a "Poodlenuts Pool" where everyone makes up their own story ... closest one wins. (Judging to be done by Poodlenuts, of course.)

I'll guess that he's either:

A) a veterinarian and became one after an embarassing yet tragic accident that happened to his childhood dog; or
B) he was involved in a freak accident but was miraculously unharmed, and attributes his luck to the private parts of the dog who was sitting on his hand when he came to (i.e.: similar to carrying a rabbit's foot for good luck).

BTW - I can hardly wait to hear what guesses come from the "Official Leg Humper of PWI"!!! [sm=hail.gif]

Mike

P.S. - No poodles were harmed in formulating these speculations.

Nah, that's tame - unlike that poodle, animal!

If that's the story, I'm guessing "Mr Poodle" is probably now just referred to as "Poodle"
