Default Nice afternoon ride

Turnsleft and I rode up FS17 to check the snow level today.
The Big View all the way to the San Juans

Mt Baker

The Beer Hunters had been out

WE found snow on the upgrade at 2,100', decided to turn
around here knowing there would be "work" involved trying
to go further.

I'm breaking in my 351, Turnsleft had his done last year

The Skagit River

Back down at the highway time to check in

I'm glad we had stopped

Nice afternoon ride. I'm real happy with the 351.

Very cool; great pics! Looks like a beautiful ride!
I made it out Sunday (SW Ohio.) No scenery like yours, for sure, but nice ride at 32-33 degrees.

Very nice. I was hoping to get the bike out this week but it's snowing again today here in Wisconsin. Makes me want to throw the knobbies on and go play in the snow instead of working today.

Yesterday was soooo nice out here it caught me off guard. I wanted to start the 1300 up and go for a spin since the tabs are expired on the KLX...I know what a loser right? And now we are going on Friday to pick up another vehicle, one for my son who is 16 now. We bought a 1990 Subaru Justy 4x4 from a friend of ours. 3 cylinder in great shape. We got it for $500 with a brand new set of 4 studded snow tires on mag wheels and a nearly new set of good tires on mag wheels. He's excited, but I'm not, my insurance will double..YIKES!!!

Awesome! It's not a REAL winter ride unless it's in the snow!

I hear ya...I couldn't afford the insurance on my truck being only 19. $300 a month on a 1976 GMC Sierra? WTF?!

So here I am...KLX and all

Teenager, big old truck... it's not about insuring your truck, the money is there to cover the damage you are oh so likely to cause!
