When will this die?

Since its back. 4k miles on mine, never skipped a beat. Gotta love thos NGK IX plugs.

take the plug you took out and push the electrode in the palm of your hand and twist in a circular motion,if it leaves a dark ring in your hand it is to rich. Bob Billen ( the old man)

Naw, they're diesel.

I have an iridium installed and personally have noticed no difference from stock. They're supposed to last longer though, so what the hey.

Default Iridium Plug

I just replaced the stock plug w/ the NGK Iridium. It was well worth the effort, starts easier, much more responsive.

Before I did the change, I thought I'd be throwing $ away. WRONG!

Is this plug ok for a 09?, i assume it is but everyone here seems to have 07's.

original oem plug that came with the 09 klx250sf lasted exactly 8,600 miles...didn't have a replacement...i dug in the trash at a shop...found one...lasted 2,000 miles...bike wouldn't start today...replaced with ngk iridium...fires up instantly and perfect idle...oops...missed work today to do the plug swap...just need gas tanks bolts off...easy work...
