NGK Iridium Plug

LOL that is basically the result I was expecting. The guy at the parts counter basically told me that in his experience, he has noticed absolutely nothing either.

You guys need to try running 98 RON or something even close. None of that 91 RON or E20 rubbish.
It's a performance plug. Give the bike a treat, fill her up with the good stuff.

Better combustion. More power. More MPG. Cleaner running.
BTW 98 RON is NOT high octane. It's regular, you can buy it at the sevo'.
Avgas or Elf racing fuels.
These are high octane.
Unlike Australian "Pump" fuels, Elf fuel does not contain traces of Benzine or Sulpher. Elf fuels are therefore cleaner and fast burning, Brendan discusses the advantages:
Not only has the bike been a lot crisper; but because of the fuel consistency, my mechanic has said that the bike is running a lot cleaner with no deposits on the piston or barrel.
Most enthusiast simply can't ride as often as they would like. It is not rare for a bike to be left with fuel in its tank for weeks or months at a time. Brendan has noticed a key difference between Elf fuels and pump fuels:
Due to work commitments I unfortunately don’t get to go riding as often as I’d like. I find that no matter how long I leave the fuel in the bike however, it starts first time - every time.
Elf BFK-07
MA approved 98octane (RON), 93 octane (MON) imported racing fuel - Unleaded
Elf MITS 43
Racing bike engines - Unleaded
Elf Moto 124
124 Octane, high compression race fuel -Leaded
Moto GP
Substitute for MITS 40 GP race engines -unleaded

Hmmm.... maybe I need to try a few tankfuls of the "premium" fuel here in the USA. The Octane ratings at the gas pumps around me are 87, 89, 92. Seems like I remember reading something about the USA rating Octane differently then the rest of the world ... figures I guess since most of our measures are different from everyone else.

Haha, my bad. I read the T/S 2 posts and thought it was 2 different people. Never put much thought into it I guess.

Yup high octane just retards detonation and has less btu/gallon. Some people never get it.
