Dan, I still have the little chinese 50cc. It runs great! My 8 year old daughter started riding it last summer as my son has really outgrown it. I highly recommend a cheap chinese minibike for young kids. It's a great learning tool as long as you go over it with a fine tooth comb to make sure all the parts are tight and in good working order (general maintenance). I plan to do some riding with both of my kids this summer. My KLX, my son's new KLX, and my daughter on the chinese 50.

FYI, on the new KLX, it's a 2007 110cc. It has less than 20 hours on it, it's completely stock, and it's nearly perfect. Got it for a great price. (now's the time to buy in the Northeast). I might put a pipe on it, we'll see. There are tons of mods out there for these things.

It's unbelievable how much stuff they put out for the klx110.........I'm sure it's because a lot of guys run them for pit bikes.
That will look good parked next to your bike.
Have a fun summer.
Dan
