Newbie ready for some mods

3 of the most cost-effective investments you can make are:
- high quality riding gear
- advanced rider training
- getting your stock suspension properly dialed in (and paying a professional to do it if necessary)
I guarantee that these 'mods' together will make you faster than just about any aftermarket parts you can throw money at.

It's amazing how many buyers will make their purchasing decision on the adjustability of suspension, then never touch the settings!

There are number of different mods for your bike, after you get comfortable with the bike after you tender suspension, I would look into exhaust (but do your research to see what kind of taste you have), look into an air filter (again research because different filters are better for different types of riding, street/dirt), and most importantly a jet kit when you do all this stuff. I know many people on here have used different jet kits, I personally used the Dynojet kit #2182 and ran the Stage 2 kit.
