Newbie question
Hi all,
I'm new to motorcycling and haven't purchased a bike yet. Here's my question - I want a 250cc bike for street-only use. I don't want a cruiser or a sport bike, so I'm down to the KLX250s and the KLX250sf. I prefer the supermoto style, but the 250s will be easier to pick up (used) at a good price. How do the stock knobbies do on the street? What are differences in the two bikes? Is the SF a more comfortable street bike?
Thanks in advance.

Im pretty sure its more confortable! I ride a KLX250 with the Knobbies on the road.. 90% of my riding is on the road..
And the KLX250sf was intended for the street so thats your best bet..
Other differences are:
Black Colour
Bigger Front Brake Disk
Not sure, but maybe different gearing..
Different
Supermoto Style Front Fender
Thats all I can think of, and imo its got a bigger cool factor too..

IMO knoblies on a scrambler in an urban jungle are just too cool. Ask Steve McQueen. Oops! He's dead. Well ask me. I say it's cool.
