Newbie Hello
Hi All,
WOW!! so glad I found this forum, I am picking up my '07 KLX from dealer this week, it is killing me waiting...
Haven't ridden seriously for 15 odd years after selling my RM250, did a bit of racing and lots of trails etc.
I have read only good things about the KLX and can't wait to jump on. Just wanted to join the forum and check in.
I'll keep you posted when I pick it up. I've read all the performance stuff and once I get it will decide on what mods to make.
Also love to hear from other Aussies around Sydney. (i'm in Blue mountains)
Cheers
Chris.

RE: Newbie Hello
Welcome! You have found a great forum for the KLX250S. The best I've found so far.
Mod's? I recommend adding a turbo and NOS right from the get-go! Seriously though, you can mod to your heart's content with this bike. Just check my signature....andI'm not done yet! There is no cure once you start down the path[8D]

Welcome chris, you sound like a lot of us. This is the first dual purpose bike I've owned in over 20 year. You will love the bike. Again welcome, and shoot a picture of where you live and hey maybe a pic of you picking up the bike at the dealership, we need a smiling face around here.

RE: Newbie Hello
Welcome. So many Aussies on here, should we dub the KLX the official bike of the land down under? My dad spent some time inAustralia andNew Zealand and told me that my bike looks like something an Aussie would ride . I guess you guys have some good dual sport riding there.
Like you, I'm a newbie, no mods yet, need some money...hey, at least I got the bike. It's my first dual sport after 17 years of street riding. The others on this forum are really helpful and the search function helps answer questions without even having to ask!
I'm sure you'll enjoy your new bike.
