I'm Xavi, from Barcelona, Spain. I run a '09 KLX250S EFI bought new 8 months ago. I'm friend of Jeffward and Marcelino; very good guys!

I'm very happy with the Kawa, it has good road manners and it's very capable on mountain. I love to ride singletracks and enduro trails with the little Kawa.

I've done some upgrades, 13/46 sprockets, polisport tail light, custom muffler to improve the botton end and middle power with only 2,2kg. weight, lip off, free flow air filter, disabled the crankcase vent recirculation and exhaust air injection, throttle body's second butterfly removed, PowerCommander V (great improvement!!), Renthal 997 Twin Wall, Polisport Halo head light, Dunlop Geomax MX51 tires, etc.

Next month I'm going to upgrade both suspensions with a revalve and new springs and I'm going to make the Marcelino's camshaft mod that seems to work fine on EFI bikes.

Next months i'm going to upgrade to 310cc. big bore & powerbomb or megamomb plus ported head and an upgrade & polished of throttle body to increase a bit the air flow.

Welcome! Sweet bike! Lots of KLX's there?? or any other kawi's for that matter?

 

On a carbed biked with a bigbore kit the cam mod hurts more than helps, at least one of the members here found out when he did it with a 351.
