New Years 1/1/2014 ride
#11
We have been just soaked for over a year now! When I first picked up my Klx it was before all the rain and the tires on it where a kinda k270 on front and a D606 on back. It was a fine combo until I was riding with my buddy in the video with the wrong color bike (orange).. it had been raining cats and dogs and last March we decided to go to Moro mountain because they close all the ORV areas from Jan through April. Well I broke my left tibia. I had aired down to 14psi and still crashed. Now I have a track master 2 rear and a scorpion pro up front and rim locks.

I run an MT21 front and K270 rear. This combo works real well in the dry rocky clay, but if its wet or if I'm riding in kaolin the rear doesn't do well. I'll be using an MT21 front and rear next time. BTW are you on the north or south side? I'm on the south side and there's not a whole lot of dual sport riders near me.

This my first shade tree video of my buddy and I installing the rim lock. I am in the rain coat. They say you can install them without drilling a hole into the strip. We did and it is fine.
I went with the Liteloc by Motion Pro because they so lite. Installing them did hardly anything to the balance because I already had some counter weights across from the stem I didn't have to install more of them.
