Wow harsh crowd. I was giving kudos to Bill for the excellent service.

With my added suggestion to Bill & Joann, I should have replaced my verb with a noun. Dang, one single letter could get everyone (or at least one = Donkey Woof) in an uproar. Only Donkey Woof would have made a false statement saying that advise was a misspelling, when in fact it was not. It WAS an error in grammar though.

Yo' Donkey Woof, advise=verb & advice=noun, jackass!

Wasn't trying to be a smart-*** in any way, shape or form.

Yours is junk, you need to buy a new one and send the old one to me for proper .. errr... disposal.

And i'll only charge you $50 for getting rid of it for you.

If you are worried about it, pull it apart and check the ring gap to see how much the rings have worn, and drop the piston into the sleeve, check clearance with a feeler guage if the skirts are showing wear. i am curious myself how many miles can be had from new to re-ringing.
Sounds like you have the most miles so YOU would be a good candidate for a report. Unless Bill Blue already did it!

What's even funnier, is when he does it twice.

Unreal.

The only way to get prices is to call now? It was on the old website. Need to see how much OT i need to work to make this 351 kit happen. What does the 351 kit run? wasn't it around 550$

I have 10K miles on my bike now, i plan on keeping it for awhile especially if i do the 351 kit. Whats the reliability and life of the 351 kit? Will it last as long as stock parts?

EMS: 11,471 posts and you haven't followed along with all the troubles, trials, and tribulations of the 351 kit? I don't think all those thousands of posts were in HOTD, where they? The 351 things are blowing up left and right, faster than they can be built. I can't believe anyone still buys them.

Mine should be back from Bill soon. Maybe this week or early next.

Yes, give Bill a call for prices. I think the kit is about $530. I ordered the 351, SS front brake line, and KDX snorkel for somewhere around $620.

There was a bad batch of 351 sleeves over this past summer with several afflicted. Jhoffy may have been one, although that failure was more likely due to interesting wrenching and break-in techniques. There were a couple more over on ADV (TNC posted one of them). I asked Bill about the sleeve issue, and it is apparently resolved with the sleeve manufacturer double-checking material and work.
