New Toy and a Snowy KLXmas
Here in South Jersey we had a nice little snow storm on the 26th of December. We got about 10 inches of snow or so, enough to put most Jersey folk into a "state of emergency", aka everyone bought up milk, bread, and eggs cuz they thought they would never make it out of their houses again!
Being I had off the whole week I had a some time to take the KLX out for a spin, riding in the deep snow was alot tougher than I had thought. I also rode with a guy who has an '08 CRF450 and he had some troubles too, but it was a good time. Only stayed out for a half hour or so due to worries about constant running at high RPMs through the snow and blowing the poor little 250 up
Here's a shot of the spokes full of that powderey white stuff:
Also this year Santa (aka my wallet) also got me a new toy to do some off roading and to haul the KLX around. It's a 2010 Tacoma 6 spd manual with the TRD offroad package. Here's a few shots of the new Toy(ota):
Hope everyone on the forum had a good Holiday, and a wonderful 2011!
Cheers,
Anthony

I'm from Williamstown, right next to the Glassboro fish and wildlife management area. I've been around Tabernacle area a few times, I love the area up there. We should meet up when it warms up for a ride through Wharton, I love getting lost in the sandy trails up there!
It's a Ford Transit. It's actually my dad's he uses it for his Plumbing and Heating business, mostly for carting around water heaters or dishwashers. It's not as tall as it looks inside, maybe ya could stand up if you were about 4'5"! It works great for hauling odd shaped appliances though!
Thanks for all the great comments, hopefully it snows some more so I can get some more experience. EMS it looks like you were in the snow a bit deeper than me LOL!
