Update->>> Chaparral kinda wins. The "sign up for our newsletter and get a 10% off coupon code" isn't valid on tires. It also can't be applied to anything on sale. It also can't be applied to anything in your cart if you have tires or anything else on sale in it too. So they ended up loosing the sale on all the parts I was going to buy from them. I just bought 2 tires. The OTD cost with CA sales tax and CA tire fees was $1 less than MCSS with out tax and fees. I really hate to give CA more of my money to waste. I may use the 10% off in the future if I ever need to buy $100 bucks in non-sale items to avoid shipping fees. RMATV really needs to get back on the ball.

I ordered the front tire from Chaparral a day after I ordered the rear from MCSS. The front tire showed up Friday. The rear is supposed to come today (Monday). So, Chaparral wins with shipping time to Utah as well. :-)

If it's available, and only a few bucks difference in price, I still like to support the local guys... (RMATV).

I don't know what the heck happened with mine. Hoping to make it to 2000 miles. Maybe the Shinko clone last longer. It's not an exact copy. It's got more rubber on the sides so I expect it will be less squirmy on the curves. Not real happy about the "Golden Boy" name on the sidewalls. Where did that come from? Can't wait to pull that stock front tire off that's for sure.

Ordered from Chaparral Saturday night and got them Tuesday.

Wow, mine were a LOT more worn than yours! Not to the wear-bars yet, but down to about 3/16ths down the center.

I wrestled both new tires onto the rims last night, along with brand new Kenda Tuff Tubes. The bike looks mean now. Can't wait to get it out in the dirt now!

I'm gonna run them a little longer on the streets. I wanted to have new tires on hand. I didn't have much fun with them last weekend in the dirt.
