Hey guys, I have a 09 KLX250SF, probably did at least 2 hours of riding today, multiple trips, but did one ride for about 75 min, after I got off I realized how uncomfortable the seat was... Anyone have any recommendations for a more comfortable aftermarket seat? Definitely looking to get a better one due to driving to work takes me about 45 min.

 

the first 2 weeks after I bought mine I was commuting 1hr each way to work.... fitted a small sheepskin pad and it made a huge difference. not as good as the custom seat on my KLR but good enough for now. might look at a Sargeant at some stage in the future. I would like a higher seat to relieve some of the bend at my knees

wow that's not too bad price wise at seat concepts, do you have one of their seats? fairly comfortable?

I like mine. Not that much softer, if any - just shaped better.

 

I'm mainly looking for a seat that will not make my butt sore from riding too long haha

 

Thanks for the inputs, I did a little more searching and went like 10 pages into this sections and found some more info, I ended up ordering the Seat Concepts seat for my bike and am definitely looking forward to getting this seat in haha

 

I should be getting my seat in this week, I'll post some pictures when I re-do it so if people wanted to do this to their bike it will give them an idea on how to do it. And before and after pictures.
