Default Two thumbs up

and more if I had more thumbs (well, sometimes I'm all thumbs ...)

Took the seat and my backend for a longer test yesterday. Rode over two hours non-stop, 152 km between picking my foot off the ground at a stop sign to putting a foot down at another stop sign. Did one reposition then just rode, rode 'n rode. Almost had to stop at road construction but just as I was running out of slow-riding, buddy (who was on his two way radio) flipped his sign to SLOW.
I would have had to take several breaks if I still had the stock seat.

Got mine yesterday. What do you guys think about the green stitching? It is the first one they have done with the green.

BTW, it does take some work to remove the wrinkles at the bend in the seat that are shown in previous posts. A heat gun and a little patience did the trick.

Take some more pictures at different angles and further back then I can comment. Besides when I order mine I may do it green

If you still have your stock seat foam laying around... could you measure the width of the SC versus the stock. Interested in the distance across the widest point.

Thanks

I had trimmed mine down to lower the seat height so measurements of mine wouldn't do you much good. I think there is a side by side pic in this thread that shows the difference in width. Not the same as a measurement but it may help a little.

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and order one myself. I have an email in to Robert about the foam density. I weight 155 lbs. and would like to get a softer density foam. Plus I'd like to see if I can get red stitching on mine.

For those who have installed their own, was it a pretty easy process?

BTW, I found a coupon code "KLR650.NET" for 10% off and it worked.

I asked for grean stitching a couple years ago when I got mine and they didn't have any. It looks great dangit!
It's easy to install, you just have to be in a patient mood.

There's a picture in this post, worth a thousand words they say. Hope it helps.

Wow, that was quick. I ordered mine yesterday with softer foam and red thread to find out it shipped today. How cool is that!?!
