Default new pics of upgrade -built a new bike trailer

So I lengthened my stock trailer a foot and decided it still sucked. I ended up using the trailer as partsand made a new one that will better suit my needs. It's unpainted in the pics and I will probably add a few things to make it more versatile.

Total cost -$200 in extra material plus scrapping my other trailer that I hated.

Hope you do not mind but I added the pics to your post.

Dam the trailer is great, I wish I had them skills. Good job. [sm=shades.gif]

I'd suggest running a couple more beams from the front cross piece to the middle, something to bolt some more tie downs into or a wheel chock/nest setup would be sweet.

Thanks for the compliments. The trailer feels lighter than my old one and has more room. I'm going to add sides to it soon. The sides will angle out the same as the front hoop did. And I will also put a hidden ramp under it too.

Notstock, how did you change it to the pictures. I cannot figure out how to do it. I use the image link on other forums, but it doesn't work for me on this site. Thanks for doing it.

I beefed up the trailer a little bit more withboat side rails. I plan to finish the rear of the trailer soon and also add some goodies to make it versatile. I plan on making it a supreme camping and off road trailer. The side railswill incorporate holes to insert some U-hoops to put some canvas on when camping once the bike is unloaded. This will make a nice tent setup and I will probably add a detachable grill. I need to put some eye bolts on to tie stuff down. I've also got to notch the front hoop to allow the front tire to stay put when loaded. I definitely have a tendency to overbuild everything.

My grandfather was a blacksmith, my dad worked a second job at night as a welder, how is it I never learned to weld?

Nice looking trailer!
