lol....don't you know Iowa never put more than 500 miles on his 06 klx, or his drz or his current klx...he don't ride he posts. so from his point of view it makes sense.

Funny part is I put 250 miles on my old 06 the first weekend I owned her. Half the miles Iowa ever put on his first klx before he sold it....so his opine on an 06 klx is rather limited...unless looking at it in the garage counts.

no-- to go up in back to equal 13/42 gearing, with the stock 14 up front, it'd take a 45 in rear. One tooth down up front is three tooth up in the rear. So no it wasn't a typo, you just did not understand. I'm not mad at anyone, and I didn't mean to offend you. But I pretty much shoot from the hip and if that hit a nerve with you, that's your problem. Don't worry so much about people you'll never meet. We're just letters. That's half the problem in this world; people are too busy worrying about pleasing others than being themselves. Be yourself, that's all. Some guys here think I'm a dick, well I may be at times. But most on here take me too literally, and quite frankly, many are addicted to "Iowa" and what I have to say. They literally flock to their pc in the morning to see what I've said the night before. I find it hilarious, aaaah, and exhilarating!! It's quite amusing to think that on many rides, my name comes up and people haven't even met me. lol

I misread your post (though you might have clarified what you were trying to say).

Eh, I'm running 14/47 and even then it could stand another couple teeth in the back. Hmm... 13/47 :LAWLZ:

Well then maybe I'm just an old-fashioned nice guy, but I don't believe in two worlds; an online world and the real world. We're all people, we just happen to be communicating via the Internet. I'm not letters, I"m a person.

I'M A MAN! I'M 40!! (21)

true, but to everyone on here no matter what you think or say, you're just a bunch of words the night before. I'm an old fashioned nice guy too, but I will let you know what I think most of the time. I'd snowblow your driveway but I wouldn't let you borrow my bike. take it or leave it.

This thread got hijacked!!!
I'm new also so don't let them scare you away msaint. There's alot of wisdom here to learn besides the ocasional bickering. You have to take it all with a grain of salt. Got out early from work and rode some before the cold spell comes. 710 miles now, bike seems to run better after the first oil change. Can't wait till spring for exhaust and new jetting. Racks hopefully out soon from kawasaki. Ride on!!

I've only let my dad and my uncle ride mine. I'm sorry, unless I've seen you ride, I don't trust anyone on my $5000 investment.

And who cares about cold. Layers are your friend. Warm your hands on the muffler at stop signs

hey bro, congrats on the new bike, you will love it. I got mine on a thursday and was in water up to the headlight on saturday. Just ride that thing, thats what its meant for. My mods are: Jet-Kit, Two Brothers slip-on, pro-taper bars, 45t renthal rear sprocket, kenda trak master tires and ASV levers with acerbis barkbusters. I have attached a picture. Let me know if i could help you any other way.
