Default New to me 1999 KDX200

Drove 900 km took 13 hours but I am the proud owner of a 1999 KDX200. My first ever KDX. It needs some work but once it's done I think it will go well.

Sun's still shinin' 13 hours a day although our 13 month old daughter has curbed my times out on the bike. It's all good though.

How's things in the east?

Cool bike, Mav, I rode one of those a few months ago and it was a lot of fun.

Sweet, you'll luv the lack of engine braking in sugar...brapppp....coast.....brappp.

I rode a kdx once but it seemed a little tired. Post up a report comparing her to the klx, just your opines of the good and bad for both bikes. And they both got em.

sweet...I'd love to own one myself...did get a chance to ride one at a rally back in Nov...and the lack of engine braking was the second thing about them that caught me off-guard, first was the head-snapping feel of cracking the throttle. I think you'll love it. They are said to be a bit more tame then other 2-strokes...a less-agressive power band so I am told, but that makes them easier to ride. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it.
