Except the Sherpa in the US sucks ***** though... Low front fender, green paint. Bleh!
The Canadian model still looks cool, like the '08. Black with a high fender!
The Sherpa is a smaller machine - my wife can ride the Sherpa but no way could she ride the KLX. (105 lbs)

I like it a lot better than the 09 dirt version.
For those that want to get the wheels, do some pricing on hubs for the 06/07 alone. It will cost a fortune to build those wheels from new factory parts. One can only hope they sell a ton of them, and equally as many get wrecked and sold on Ebay.

Or you could get them from someone who lives in Japan, there are always wheels and brakes on Yahoo auction japan.
I am putting another set of black wheels up this week, and am watching a set of Yoshimura cams and full Braking super moto kit.

the older design is "stronger"? so to be clear with your thesis, the newly designed '09 model has a weaker swingarm even though it has a d-section and kawi claims more rigidity? I think you may be confused about this issue.

. Nice going Kawasaki. I needed a good laugh when I saw this. The Shepra was a good touch. As for the SF model, actually that is good thing. Just like the D-Tracker.
I'll keep my 06' KLX250s. Besides, I just got the engine fixed. Need to get more miles out of it.
