Default New Klx250S owner in the tampa FL area

Hey Guy's

Pulled the trigger a few weeks ago on a new Klx250S dual sport.
Love the bike and have Tons of questions about the bike and improving it's performance, etc, etc.
I will post my questions as time goes on. Just wanted to say hi at the moment and see if there
are any other Klx250s owner's in the Tampa Florida area. Perhaps we could get together in the future.
My Other bike is a 05 Harley davidson 1200R Sportster. I like to think I got the best of Both worlds.
My 1200R for the street and my little Klx for commuting to work, riding offroad, and just playing around.
Talk to you Guys later......

LV-welcome to the group. My last street bike was a Buell White Lightning, kinda a cousin to one of your bikes. I love 'em.

Sorry, My harley tool kit contains Neither a half brick nor a cold chisel. Perhaps you dont know harleys that well. They have come a long way since the Old days. My 2005 run extremley well. See for yourself My 2005 1200R Roadster

Don't let these guys give you a hard time about the Harleys. They just haven't gotten used to the glare of chrome! [sm=bling.gif] Now Deej, on the other hand, is trying to create his own kind of glare by perpetually shining the KLX. [sm=yikesomg.gif]

Well the bike itself set me back 9997.00 in November of 04. that was with tax, tag, title, dealer prep. I believe the msrp at the time was 8715.00. I have about an additional 3 grand into it in the parts a non-harley fan might not be aware of. Things like the pipes, carb, ignition module, etc, etc. Believe it or not the Bike is the cheap part on harleys. It's the Stage 1 and all the accessories that will kill you. I'm actually thinking about selling it. With the Klx performing all the things that I Require a bike for the sporty is turning into a Garage Queen....
