Hi All,

Am picking up new KLX250 this week, I have read all the performance posts etc but still wanted to check what I should ask the dealer before taking it out the shop. They have said that it is de-restricted as they do this when the bike is built?? I really want to know what they have done, could one of you knowlegable guys give me a list of what should be done for de-restriction, soI can check it has been done.I just want to know what's been done before I do anything.

if it has a stock exhaust and catalytic converter mabob (aka boat anchor) hard to believe its de-restricted.
