Check it out! Good price, delivered on time, came with Adobe CS too - easy to install (only needed a Photoshop wrench)!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, “DAMN, what a ride!!”

Did you have to use two spacers?

BTW, you and I have the exact same setup except that you have the uni and I have the stock filter. I am at sea level and I get some popping on decel(@ 2.5 turns out), otherwise the bike runs perfect. Should I go one up on the pilot? How does yours run?

LOL on the two spacers! As for the pilot I'm going back down to a #38 or #35, the #40 is causing a slight bog on initital acceleration and seems too rich at idle which fluctuates from 1200 to 1800 rpm (never need to choke, fires right up though). Since I'm also at 2500' I believe the smaller pilot should help. Any commets from the peanut gallery?

If you have it at 2.5 turns out, you have it maxed out rich on the 40 pilot. There is no reason to go down in size. Turn in the Fuel Screw 1/2 turn at a time until you get the best result. If you have to go all the way to less than 1/2 turn out, then you indeed need the next smaller pilot.

Excellent! I'll give it a shot when I can find a screwdriver small enough to get in there without having to loosen up the carb - man, I'm getting lazy in this heat or is it Friday?!

FM, you're just too cool! My doctor tried to install one of those in me for my bladder control problem! I'd rather ride with wet pants - keeps you cool in these hot temps.
