Heya

I've been reading these forums for weeks and finally decided to register!

We just got back from Moab Utah. We rode the Poison Spider/Golden Spike/Gold Bar Rim trails. One word = Hardcore. It was absolutely crazy. Very extreme terrain... Sand, slick rock, etc. Needless to say, I bent the handlebars, broke both levers and stock brush guards.. lol

Here's a pic of my boss stuck on his WR 450. (I made it up this, np)

Joe,

Welcome to Kawasaki Forums - the home of the best place for information on the KLX250S.

Do you mean you went riding in Moab, Utah, you're boss on his WR450 and you on your KLX250S? And you kept up with him?

More pictures please!

https://www.kawasakiforums.com/album...e=1&sortType=6

I created a photo album, but not quite sure how to link it... so the URL is above.

There was four of us... 2x WR 450, 1 YZ 250, 1 KLX 250

I was a tough ride. There was some really deep sand in some areas and I struggled to keep up and not crash in those spots. I did great on all the climbs and regular trails.

AHAHhaahahah[sm=roll.gif] lol, well then, I guess that solves our tank problem. Just take bean burritos along for the ride and you will have enough fuel to get to Russia.

Thanks!

We parked the covered trailer at the beginning of the Loop (Trail). This had all our tools and extra fuel. We packed extra fuel in MSR fuel bottles... in our backpacks. The days ride was 40 miles, so I had a little left when we were done.

Hey Joe. Using MSR bottles for a little extra fuel is a [sm=goodidea.gif]. It should be just enough fuel to get you out of the boonies..just in case. I'll be heading to the local REI. Thanks.
