RE: New to the crew!
The fire and jump was a little fun stunt my sister and brother in law put together while I was checking out some other trail. When I came back, they had me stop, lit it up and I started to laugh as I knew exactly what was going on. A few revs and I was off. The video is hilarious.
No mods planned for now, except for handguards. I'm still new to this so the bike is plenty enough for me. Plus when reading all the info on top speed and such, I am pleasently surprised I can cruise up to 110km/h (70mph) and still accelerate, plenty fast for where I live. I've found the bike to be very stable at high speed. Good job on the 09 model. 6 gear still gets me up plenty of big hills.
Also, I like having the bike stealth quiet, I don't want to attract any attention on some places I plan to ride.

good point about high speed stability, I opened mine up a few times and it tracked perfect on a windy highway, my old kLR use to give me the speed wobbles, especially at speed. I wonder if this is something then cleaned up on the 09s?
