It sounds pretty cool to me. My only concern is the 1.5-2 hour battery life. Is that typical for these types of cameras?

From what I have read about the Go Pro 1 and 2 is about the same battery life. Give or take 30 minutes.....

My GoPro2 gets about 2.5 hrs to the battery. I carry a spare charged one in my backpack when riding.

I'll give this new camera a big fat "meh."

The GoPro is the sick nasty camera to get - just accept that. hahaha

The biggest GoPro seller for me was the fact it is waterproof to about 200'. And you can do 120 fps. Sold!

Have they released a flat lens for the go pro so you can get decent underwater footage without having to jury rig something ? Thats the biggest gripe i think i've read about the GP.

Good thinking, I forgot that everyone wants to take their bike 200' below the water.

Well, there's diving, snorkeling, fishing, surfing, etc. I'm not a one hobby kind of guy!!
