Default New bike

Well new to me. 1997 ZX600E, 1500 miles to cheap to pass up. Maybe now I'll gear the klx down like it needs to be for serious off road.

Get that antique, road-going, rice-burner out of here. This is a real bike forum.

Maybe I'm missing something in those pics, but for a 15 year old sportbike, that thing looks pretty clean and unabused. How many miles on the clock? You should have fun with that. I've kind of been eyeing an '06 Honda 800 Interceptor here locally, so I can appreciate your need for speed.

Only 1500 miles? Wow, that's almost scary low. Better break that baby in right, right now!

The bike was parked in garage and never touched, the 3 out of 4 pilot jets were plugged and that was about it, it's a beast now. It has a couple light zipper marks on the tank other than that it's showroom condition. Not as fast as the new stuff but real fast anyway. It was about 1990 the last time I rode a bike you lay on so it's took some getting used to.

"Not as fast as the new stuff"...frankly...that's a plus.

Yea TNC, I've had the same thought, I'm not sure anyone really needs to go like one of these does. That being said damn it's fun.
