Default new 13 tooth Front sproket, rubbing on crankcase

I got a new renthall sproket 13 that fits a kx250f, it fits on the klx but it doesnt have the added flange to space it from the crank case so the chain rubs on it, any suggestions?

Get the right sprocket.
You need to have the correct chain line to ensure against premature chain wear and chain derailment.

JT sprockets do one. ? on the part number. Deej knows. Send him a PM.
I've read that the fronts for the XR650L (not the XR650R) fit the KLX250S.
Phone your Honda store or you can cross reference one from Renthal/JT.

The measurements are the same. They both have the offset collar.

yep, the above post is the right part #, or any sprocket that fits an XR650L or Ninja 250 up to 2007, not sure about the new 2008 Ninja 250 sprocket fitting. The shoulder goes inside toward the cases just fyi if you didn't already know. good luck.

Hi
JTF 516-13 is the sprocket code for JT front sprocket.
JTR 460-45 is a good option for the rear if your intrested.
Cheers Scott
