Default New 07 KLX 250S Owner

Hey Guys! I just wanted to indtroduce myself as I just got an 07 250s about a week ago. I come from a sportbike backround but recently sold my last streetbike and scored a deal on a mint 07 250s. The 250s was exactley what I wanted, I'm pretty small soa smaller andlighter dualsportwas what I was looking for and the 250s fit the bill perfectly.

I'm looking forward to getting in some good rides and meeting a few people in the dualsport community. I'll be using the bike to get to work a few times a week and play around on the weekends with.

I'm located in Southwest Florida so if anyone from around the area ever wants to ride or knows of a few good places to ride let me know.

So far i've been lurking around the forums and reading up on everything I could. The faqs and extensive posts are really helping me figue out what I want to do with the bike. I already ordered a rear sproket and a new chain. I'm sure an exhaust, filter, and a rejet are in the near future.

Hey Adam, welcome to the forums, glad to have another KLX owner. Because after all we are taking over the site one rider at a time.[8D] I always wanted to get one of those green chains. Is it an o-ring chain? what did it cost you? Oh and there are a few guys in Florida that will chime in here soon. Maybe Finger Mullet can take you our for a fishing trip. I think he's from Florida somewhere.

Deej, the chain is an x-ring and they are great. I've had ek chains on all my previous bikes and they never stretch. I got my chain from denniskirk.com for $120 i think. Yea its a little expensive, but it looks great and will last a long time so I think it was worth it.
