My neutral light doesnt come on anymore... i took off the kick stand switch, and i took out the clutch sensor (but tied the ends together closed) Whats the deal? sometimes if i'm lucky it'll come on for a second. something i should try to clean?

i got nothing..... sorry. i would just ignore it. but that's just me. there's bigger things to worry about. like whether or not we're doing a northeast ride this year.

Could be the bulb? Maybe it is loose in the socket.

where is the actual sensor that tells the light to come on.. maybe there is a problem there..... if it comes on every once in awhile....

I believe the actual sensor is inside the engine. I think the shift star activates it.

I would check the simple stuff first though, like wiring to the indicator light.

maybe try undoing the wiring mods you just did to see if it comes back on..... if it worked before and doesnt now.... obviously something you did is causing it... well most likely.....
