RE: Need some help picking bars
does anyone know the height and width of our stocker bars (i'm sure its here somewhere but i'm not finding it) I'm thinking of getting either the carmichael or windham twin-wall renthals. yes they're pricey but I want to change them once and thats all.
also will these fit without any adapters and will i get all the stocker pieces back on?

The twinwallsrequire a Triple Top Clamp with a 1 1/8 inch diameter handlebar fixing point, so, yes, you will definitely need that. Ours is only 7/8."That will be kind of pricey, but if super tough bars are important to you than maybe it's worth the money. All of your controls should fit OK though because it appears they mount to the 7/8" inner bar.
One thing to consider is that Renthal makes some of the toughest 7/8" single wall bars out there. They're tough enough to withstand most crashes without bending, but if your crash is extreme enough they will take the shock and bend, preventing more expensive parts of your bike from bending.

One nice thing about the Twinwalls (I have them on a couple of other bikes I own) is that they absorb a good amount of hand numbing vibration, not as big a problem on the KLX but after a long ride I feel it.
