Need a new front tire
So I'm a copycat
The K270 I just reinstalled on the KLX tried really hard to kill me this time, and almost succeeded. I like the K270 rear, but just ordered a Trakmaster rear to try. I keep hearing good/bad about the TM front.
Those of you who have used it, what did/didn't you like? Any other recommendations for an inexpensive front, emphasis being on clay based single track with occasional mud? I don't care about road manners, but also don't want to wear it down on a few trips to work, either. Currently going to use another Millville sticky leftover from my MX bike. It works very well, but they've gotten quite expensive here, and this one only has about half life left.
I can get Michelin starcross HP4 for $50, and it's supposed to kick as s in the hard pack, but the mud performance scares me.

I like the TMII front and rear.. THat's pretty much all I buy now when I need tires.. I can get both shipped to me for like $90.
They are fine on the road too. I've leaned the bike over pretty far in the corners with no probs. You're not going to be draggin knees or anything, but if you ride the road to get to the trails they're just fine.

I've run Trakmaster fronts before, and they're not a bad tire. They weren't the greatest in the rocks though. They would slide out on me from time to time. Right now I'm running a Pirelli MT-16 on the front, and it really grips everywhere I've taken it so far, including slick mud. The MT-16 isn't bad on the road either. Just my 2 pesos.

Went to the new bike shop in town to order some bars and saw that they had a stack of new old stock dual sport tires sitting in the box of a Kawi Mule in the showroom. I walked out with 2, k760 rears, and a K776 front for a little more than $100.
Anybody here used the K776 front? Looks pretty aggressive.
