Default Need a new air filter

I was cleaning my air filter and left it on top of the grill to dry. Stepped away from it for about 2 minutes and my dog decided it was his new chew toy...

So now I'm on the hunt for a new one. Any recommendations where to buy online? Poss free or cheap shipping? Seem to run around $20ish online. Didn't know if there are any websites out there maybe I haven't heard of...

I called 3 dealers near me and 2 of them can't find them for the 2006 KLX250s and say I am out of luck and have to go back to stock. The other, can get one in 3 days and it's $30+. Does the 2006 KLX300r (or any other bike) use the same filter???

I saved the stock one and will use that to get me by.

I bought a K&N filter for $26 from AJUSA.com. Looks like the price has gone up though.

pre oiled NoToil filter for $15 w/free shipping. I have been tempted to buy one but I have two good ones I have been switching back and forth. You will not beat $15. I buy the regular No Toil filters and have had great luck with them. I don't know if this filter is the same as their normal ones? Get one and report back.

Very funny. I see you've been paying attention and have a good memory.

LOL!...but lately I've become more fond of the 2-stage Uni. I've been a Twin-Air fan to some degree, but frankly it was often 6-of-one-half-dozen-of-the-other among the quality filter elements out there. What I've come to like about the Uni 2-stage is that I can lightly oil the outside element...as you always should...and get at least 3 cycles out of the inner element before cleaning. For a lazy guy that's a big plus.

Funny, I was just in that place today. Right down the block from where I work.

Are the No-Toil filters any better than stock or are they just easier?
