Don't forget the simple green or purple cleaner and a couple of tooth brushes, that works great, oh and I even have a couple of the tooth brushes That I heated and bent so they could get into just the right angle.........whoops, TMI? I'm giving away my trade secrets. That sounded dirty[8D]

 

yea im outta simple green..... need to go get more.... and some SOS pads.... for the chrome... keep hearing works great on chrome...

 

Yeah SOS or u could pick up some autosol..it's a chrome cleaner and polish..works really good...looks like a tube of toothpaste. I was also told the truck industry has some really good stuff, but can't remember the name for the life of me. And with that much chrome, perhaps getting something from the trucking industry may be better and last longer than a little tube of autosol.

 

Thanks for all the good tips!!!! You really are a good bunch of guys and one girl. I figured for sure this post would casue alot of people to talk alot of crap since it is a duel purpose forum, and I am talking about getting a sport bike, but you guys really helped. I think with what you guys have told me I have came to the conclusion of getting a cruiser. It really seems like the best option because if I was going to get any sort of dual purpose bike it would have to have jumping capabilitys and I dont think I will find those with the klr. As for street bikes well I tryed the whole sand bag push up thing and as comfortable as it sounds, well ............ its just not for me. Thanks again!!!!! I dont plan on getting the klx any more but I think I will stick around the forum cause I like you guys.
