need help deciding between klx and gsxr
Ok I have a question and the answer to it will be my determining factorin weather I get a klx or a gsxr.Yeah I said it, a street bike, but its not what you think I am not a street bike guy and I would not buy it for hobby I would only be buying it for a fuel efficiant way to get from point a to point b. Bobba ganoosh is not happy about this news at all I'm sure we will be hearing alot from him on this post. Ok so the quastion. How does the klx handle with a second person on the back? I will be drivng my wife to school and stuff alot and I have to have her safty in mind when I make this purchase. believe me when I say though I am a dirt bike guy at heart and there is no way I would even consider a street bike if it wasnt for the fact that I have a dirt bike. I will still have my 04 rm-z 250.

ive had my wife on the back of my klx.... you can really tell with it only being a 250, kinda sluggish. handles alright. flat ground is ok, but hills kill it. If your only buying a bike for gas mileage, get a street bike.....
You could just make your garage like mine.....
2006 klx250s
1980 honda CB750K 600$

If you are not going to have your wife on the back id say get the klx, and throw street tires on it... but because of 2 passengers... and ill say this too.... my wife doesnt like riding for any length of time.... its not very comfortable for the passenger. I like ninjas better than gsxr's.... not just cause i already have a kawi....

your going to be riding two-up a lot and the gsxr made it to your short list?? have you seen the rear pillion on that thing? the gsxr is not a two-up bike.it's a track bike for the most part and the majority of the power is up high in the rev range not down low where your going to need it for the street. for the amount of money your looking at spending there are at least a dozen better bikes to consider waaay before thinking about a gixxer 600.
just my 2 cents.
