NEED A BIKE, HAVE $2000 CASH... can you help?
Hey my friend needs a dual sport, something in the 250-450 range. He decided the 650 is just too much weight and power to really have fun in the woods. he likes my klx250 but is open to other brands/models as well. Anyone seen anything lately?
(he was all lined up to buy a DR400, but the guy sellin backed out, so now hes got $2000 aproved for a loan but no where to spend it yet)
I know you guys are hunters... lets see what ya can dig up! lol (i just paced craigslist for a couple of hours, lots of bikes, but just slightly out of price range.)
Thanks for lookin, and an even bigger thanks if you reply with something you found
(PS Deej your the man, GPS is stylin now)

I have not seen anything for that price that is worth anything......Takes about $3,500 to get something that won't need a bunch of work [:@]Unless you get real lucky

Wait for the deal to come to you....dont jump on the first things you see.
I got my 06 KLX in 2007 with only 300 miles on it.
It was practically new.
The guy wanted $3300 on Craigslist. I offered $2500 cash, and he took it!
$2500 for a new-ish bike not even broke-in yet.
