Default Need answer

im getting my hmf sometime next week and have already removed the airbox lid but will the airbox lid being gone make me need to switch jets to a bigger size like from the 125-128?

Looks like you are at a pretty low altitude. With intake and exhaust mods that you are talking about I would consider a 128 to 135 main jet and # 40 pilot, N1TC needle at second slot from the top,slide drilled 7/64(and as far as putting the slidein the freezer, I guess if it won't go back in try it) I had no problem in this area. Trust me if your gonna go thru all the trouble removing the carb you might as well spend the extra few $$ and change the pilot/needle as Matt said above.

Im running a 128 with the airbox lidON and KDX snorkle
I personally wouldnt run with the lid off especially offroad but thats jmo.

Read this thread below, there is a link to what some members setups are. Just find a member whos altitude is close to yours and see what they are running....thats what I did. Im in Houston so Im at about 150ft above sea level, whereas someone at a higher elevation would need different jetting. These guys have done all the hard work trying different setups.
