I am pretty sure my 06's stock pipe has a cat. But the 06 was only 49 state legal, stupid California. I forget if it was 07 or 09 when they added the carbon canister and it was 50 state legal.

 

have an 2009 stock oem muffler and header...what do you have?...maybe, i can also make a trade...and, i'm in sf, ca area...

Fmf q4 i just didt have the resourses what he has is all good

 

had the q4 and it probably was best muffler for the klx...but, sold it for little more increase in sound and free flow...i don't need a q4...

 

I want the big gun exhaust. Seems like everyone runs fmf or muzzy, im not to fond of the tone of those mufflers

big gun sounds very similar to the hmf...deep boo boo boo boo boo boo...if you want other option....you can hear it in my video....i went from the fmf q4 to the hmf...i did add little more packing to quiet it just a bit...when i'm in the garage in the end, you can really hear it better...

 

Yeah I do like the hmf, I like more of the deep dirt bike rumble, where the muzzy fmf etc sound more braaaap, I like the buuuuuurp. I don't know, hard to describe, they have distinct differences to me. I also prefer glasspacks to flowmasters, but I guess I'm just weird
