When you're talking about tires for motard type street use, you're going to see some good tubeless tires that work for that application. You can still run them with a tube. Now, there is some debate about some of the really big road burners, like Goldwings and such, as to whether it's the best deal to put a tube in those tubeless tires. Some of these bikes are big, heavy, and do some high speeds. That can generate heat, and a tube within a tubeless tire carcass might generate more heat. Personally I don't know. It's an argument that's out there. I run Nuetech Tulbiss on my KLX250S. They have been totally reliable for 3 years now. Unfortunately Nuetech doesn't have a 17" application at this time, or that's what I'd run if I had an SF.

IE a Z rated tire should be used as a W rated tire when running tubes.
